Amazon outage causing Alexa-powered devices to go offline

The Verge reports asking Echo devices simple questions results in a non-response, followed by Alexa stating it has lost connection. Amazon has yet to comment on the situation or provide a timeframe of when the issue will be alleviated, but it has not responded yet.

As more information becomes available, we’ll be sure to update the post.
