Samsung will unveil the future of its Galaxy S line on Sunday, February 25, when the company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S9. You can watch the festivities unfold right here.
The Galaxy S9 event kicks off on Sunday, February 25 at 9 a.m. EST.
If you’re in the market for a new Android smartphone, this is the announcement to watch. Samsung regularly sets a high bar for others to follow, and we’re fully expecting the company’s newest handset to become the new standard. Last year, the Galaxy S8 was nearly perfect; it’s looking like the Galaxy S9 will be even better.
Over the past few weeks, everything there is to know about the Galaxy S9 has leaked out. It’ll reportedly come in several different colors (black, purple, blue, and gray), feature Qualcomm’s newest Snapdragon 845 processor, and feature Android 8.0.
But Samsung is doing things a little differently this year. The Galaxy S9 Plus will not only feature a larger screen, as per usual, but improved specs, including a bigger battery, more RAM and a dual-camera setup. Samsung’s approach is not unlike what Apple does with its iPhone.
We’ll know much more about the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus on Sunday. You can read up on what else to expect in the links down below.
