Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom won’t hit theaters until June of this year, but Universal skipped the formality and announced Jurassic World 3 will happen in 2021.

Universal made the announcement through Jurassic World’s Instagram page. The release date is June 11, 2021, three years after Fallen Kingdom graces the big screen. Jurassic World 3 is slated to be the last chapter of the trilogy.

Although the date was announced, there are still a few missing pieces. No director was announced and it’s unknown if stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be returning. Most likely they are, but they still need to iron out contractual details.

Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow will return to pen the script alongside Emily Carmicheal (Pacific Rim: Uprising) as well as serve as executive producer. It’s unclear if Fallen Kingdom director J.A. Boyana will return to reprise his role for the sequel, but he seems like the most worthy candidate to take up the mantle.

While we wait for the third chapter, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom opens on June 22.
