Google released Android Oreo over five months ago, but the software still isn’t available on Samsung devices. Thankfully, the Korean company recently wrapped up its Oreo beta program, suggesting a wider release is imminent. So, what kind of new features can Samsung owners expect?

SamMobile has shared an infographic showcasing some of the features coming to Samsung Experience 9, and there’s plenty to be excited about, like updates to the stock keyboard, a more powerful finder, and a feature called Bixby Briefing.

Here’s how Samsung describes the aforementioned feature:

Bixby updates you on the weather of the day when your alarm rings. With background music and colors to match the weather, it’s a fun way to start your day.

Additionally, Samsung Experience 9 features Duel Messenger and enhanced DeX with support for a wider range of monitors. Samsung’s software also introduces Color Lens, which is designed to prevent eye strain by changing the color of your display.

It’s unclear when Samsung will roll out Android Oreo to its lineup of devices, though it could be any day. The company is gearing up to unveil the Galaxy S9 at the end of this month, so perhaps we’ll see an official release around then.
