Google Home is getting some much needed features

Google Assistant is getting two new features to help round out its functionality: the ability to set music alarms and look up TV schedules.

Setting alarms to music will be just as easy as it sounds. Just ask Google Assistant: Set an alarm at 5AM to Drake, and you will wake up to a song like “One Dance.” You can also ask it to play a specific song or playlist. Google Assistant will use the music service you’ve set to as your default, be it Spotify, Pandora or Google Play Music.

Asking Google Assistant to look up TV schedules is as easy as saying, What time is the Super Bowl airing? It’ll work the same with other programs that have reruns; Google Assistant will just relay the next time an episode will air. You can also ask questions about a specific program, such as, What channel does Friends air on?

The two added features are now rolling out to Google Assistant for the Google Home.
