Get a huge Pixel Buds discount when you buy a Pixel 2

The Pixel Buds were Google’s long-awaited response to the AirPods, but they fell way short of expectations. Most of the features they promised didn’t work as advertised and the final product wasn’t worth the steep price tag. Google is trying to drive up interest by offering a huge discount on the Pixel Buds when you buy a Pixel 2.

When you add Pixel Buds to your cart when buying a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL through the Google Store site, an automatic 50-percent discount is applied, knocking $80 off the price tag. That works out perfectly because the only device you should be using the Pixel Buds with is the Pixel 2. Any other device and you’re best off looking elsewhere.

Some of the features the Pixel Buds offer include seamless connection to the Pixel 2 (this feature doesn’t work with any other device), real-time translation and Google Assistant. If you don’t heed our warning, connecting the Pixel Buds to another smartphone is just like any other device’s Bluetooth headset. Get ready to dig around the settings menu.

If you’ve been thinking of picking up a Pixel 2 and the Pixel Buds, now is the perfect time to do so. And you should do it soon, we’re not sure for how long the deal will be available for.
