Nintendo teases “new interactive experience” for Switch

Nintendo is gearing up to unveil a “new interactive experience” for the Switch, which the company says will be aimed at young gamers. The company will host a broadcast with full details at 2 p.m. PT (5 p.m. ET).

According to Nintendo of America, the announcement is “specially crafted for kids and those who are kids-at-heart.” No other details were shared, so fans are left to speculate about what Nintendo has planned.

The company recently held a Direct Mini where it announced a handful of new games, including Mario Tennis Aces. Because today’s announcement will focus on a new interactive experience, it’s unlikely Nintendo will talk about an online service or its much anticipated Virtual Console.

So, what will today’s announcement be? New software? A new peripheral? We’ll jump on the news as soon as it drops.
