Apple release fourth beta for iOS 11.2.5—get it now!

Apple seeded the fourth beta for iOS 11.2.5 to developers on Tuesday, a week after releasing the third beta. Just like past beta updates, this one doesn’t offer many noticeable changes. The major addition to iOS 11.2.5 beta 4 is Siri’s ability to play daily news podcasts when asked about the news.

As a default, Siri will play a daily podcast from The Washington Post but users can switch to CNN, Fox News or NPR. Conjuring up the daily podcast will only work through functions that don’t involve a display, like the HomePod, CarPlay or headphones. If you ask Siri a question about the news the standard way using the home button, she will just display the news.

Aside from the added Siri functionality, and other minor bug fixes and performance tweaks, not much else changed with iOS 11.2.5 beta 4.

Developers can download the newest iOS beta now. Public beta users should get the update in a few days.
