iMac Pro now available for in-store pickup

Remember Apple’s wildly expensive iMac Pro computer that costs multiple thousands of dollars and is available in a cool new Space Gray option? In case you’ve got money burning a hole in your pocket, it is now available for in-store pickup at Apple Stores.

First noted by MacRumors, many Apple Stores in the U.S. and other countries now have the base iMac Pro configuration in stock for a cool $5,000. That will get you a 3.2Ghz 8-core Intel Xeon W processor, 32GB of ECC memory, 1TB SSD and the only Space Gray Apple Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse around.

If you opt for a different customized configuration, you will have to wait a while for Apple to ship it out to you. Even just swapping the Space Gray Magic Mouse for a Magic Trackpad, which is way cooler, will push back the delivery estimate to two weeks.

Same day pickup offers its benefits, but waiting a while gives you the option to customize an already expensive computer with the specifications you want.

If you feel like making an impulse buy, the iMac Pro is there for the taking.
