Google rolls out sweet holiday deals for the Google Play Store

The holidays are in full force now with Christmas just a few days away, so Google is spreading the cheer with a new round of deals available at the Google Play Store. Dubbed the “12 Days of Play,” these deals will net you some pretty sweet discounts.

Right off the bat, the first deal to catch your eye is the 99¢ rentals. You can rent any movie or three episodes from a TV show for just 99¢. This makes it super easy watch your favorite holiday movie such as Home Alone or It’s a Wonderful Life.

Google is also offering steep discounts of up to 80-percent on games like Need For Speed: Most Wanted, Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 and FRAMED 2. In case you’re more into Clash Royale or Clash of Clans, you can get special chest offers for the former and temporary troops and a Santa Spell in the latter.

Here’s a breakdown of some of the other deals you can take advantage of:

  • New subscribers got 50-percent off HBO Now
  • New Google Play Music subscribers get four months for free
  • Tune-In listeners can get 40-percent off a year’s ad-free subscription
  • A $5 credit toward any book over $5
  • Special Pokémon GO bundles

Google Play Store’s 12 Days of Play deals start today and will run for twelve days, ending January 2.
