Bluehole Studios used the Game Awards on Thursday to give fans their first proper look at the new desert map, Miramar, that’s coming to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The map is in stark contrast to Erangel, which is the solitary playground that’s been available since the game first launched.
Miramar looks to feature dusty plains, arid environments, and plenty of offroading, everything you’d expect in a battle royale that takes place in the desert.
Bluehole already revealed that Miramar will feature its own set of unique vehicles and weapons, which should go a long way toward keeping the game feeling fresh, especially for those who have been playing since it first hit Early Access.
If you want an early peek at the new map, you’ll be able to check it out on the PUBG test servers beginning tonight at 12 p.m. PST.
Welcome to Miramar, an all-new Battle Royale experience. Available on the test servers today from 12AM PST / 9AM CET / 5PM KST.
