Here’s how to get six months of free Netflix from Google

Google is continuing to sweeten the holidays with six months of free Netflix.

The deal will apply when you buy one of three Chromebooks: the Pixelbook, Samsung Chromebook Pro and Chromebook Plus. Getting six months of free Netflix does little to alleviate the hefty $1,000 starting price of the Pixelbook, but it is better than nothing. Those who purchased one of these devices just have to go to Google’s Chromebook site to claim the deal. But you better hurry, the deal expires at the end of December.

The new perk comes at the perfect time with Netflix raising prices starting in January. User will get Netflix’s $10.99 plan (previously $9.99), which gives you the ability to stream HD content on up to two screens at the same time. That’s a $66 value. If you already have a Netflix account, you can apply the discount to your current plan.

Google has made it a habit of including sweeteners for Chromebooks. Users already get Asphalt 8 for free, $20 of Google Play credit, 100GB of Google Drive storage for two years and a free three-month (90 days) subscription to Google Play Music. You can now include six months of free Netflix into the mix.
