Verizon is offering a huge disount on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL

Verizon has announced its best deal yet on the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. For a limited time, you can get either device for $300 off.

That’s the biggest discount being offered for any major smartphone. Best of all, you will get the $300 discount without trading in another device. That will severely slash the price of the Pixel 2 (64GB) which starts off at $649 and the Pixel 2 XL (128GB) that goes as high as $949.

Since this is a carrier, there are a few details to note. The $300 discount can only be acquired if you sign up for an installment plan over 24 months. The $300 discount will be applied throughout that time.

Verizon didn’t reveal specifics about pricing, but doing the math straight up, the 64GB Pixel 2 will be about $14.54 per month when you factor in the discount. The 128GB Pixel 2 XL will come out to about $27.04 per month.

It’s hard to ignore the bad press the Pixel 2 has received, but it is still a fantastic device. Display issues aside (and those were mostly reserved to its bigger brother, the Pixel 2 XL), it’s still one of the best Android devices with arguably the best camera around. Verizon’s latest discount seriously makes the Pixel 2 a very compelling option if you’re on the fence about upgrading to a new device.

Verizon didn’t set a specific timing the discount would be available for, so if you’re considering it, it’s best to jump on it sooner rather than later.
