One of the single most anticipated games right now is The Last of Us Part II, the sequel to Naughty Dog’s 2013 action game. Despite it not having a release date or even release window, it’s still on top of many PlayStation fans’ lists. But with Uncharted: The Lost Legacy out of the way, the studio is finally starting to talk about their game. A brutal trailer debuted at Paris Games Week this fall, and now the company will have a bit more to say at the PlayStation Experience next weekend.
Writers Neil Druckmann and Halley Gross, as well as key members of the cast will be on hand to talk about the game in a panel that will be streamed online, focusing specifically on that trailer. Which cast members will be there hasn’t yet been revealed. Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker played protagonists Ellie and Joel in the original, and actress Laura Bailey played Anna in this latest trailer.
While E3 has been a big venue for Sony in the past, the company has started saving bigger moments for this PlayStation experience. While this panel is a guarantee, it’s not impossible that we might get some kind of release date or time frame for The Last of Us Part II during the keynote presentation. It is unlikely, though, as Sony says its biggest moments this year were at E3 and Paris Games Week.
