It’s Cyber Monday, and for the next few days you can scoop up a new phone through Project Fi with some added benefits. Both Google’s Pixel 2 and Motorola’s Moto X4 (in addition to last year’s Pixel XL), the only phones compatible on the custom network, are participating in a promotion that gives customers bill credit for upgrading.
These are the deals:
- Buy a Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL, get $100 in Project Fi credit and a Google Home Mini
- Buy a Moto X4, get $100 in Project Fi credit
- Buy a Pixel XL, get $100 in Project Fi credit
Taking advantage of Project Fi’s duo of deals is simple. Just purchase the Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Moto X4, or Pixel XL and you’ll automatically receive $100 in bill credit. Since Google’s wireless service is based on a pay-as-you-go structure, your bill credit will be reduced by however much data you use. And, when it’s gone, you’ll go back to making the payments. If you buy the Pixel 2 or Pixel 2 XL, you also get a free Google Home.
The Pixel 2 and Moto X4 are among the best phones you can buy today while the Pixel XL still stands strong in 2017. They serve different segments of the market, but each comes with stock Android. Also, Google controls software updates for both and thus you’ll constantly be on the latest version of Android for at least two years. You can’t really go wrong with any of them. Anyone should wants the absolute best Android phone should get the Pixel 2 or Pixel XL, and to save a little money you can go with the Moto X4.
Project Fi also offers payment plans to spread the cost across two years. You can even get device protection for the Pixel 2, Moto X4, or Pixel XL. With the bill credit, new and existing customers shouldn’t be shy to upgrade to a new phone now.
Google says these deals run through Thursday, November 30.
