Google Play, the digital store for Android devices worldwide, will observe Black Friday and Cyber Monday by lowering prices on apps, games, movies, TV shows, music, and books. The discounts were announced today as the upcoming weekend should be include some of the busiest shopping days of the year.
These are the deals live right now:
- Discounts on apps
- 50% off a monthly Colorfy subscription
- Up to 80% off premium games
- 50% off any one movie to own
- 25% off any one TV season to own
- Free 4-month Google Play Music subscription
- $5 credit toward any book over $5 to own
- Discounts on books
It’s a pretty good set of offers, especially since there aren’t limitations on the movies and TV shows to choose from. And, for those who read a lot, you’re bound to get a credit or discount on your next purchase. Then there’s a bunch of apps and games seeing their prices knocked down. So it looks like Google’s done a nice job getting deals up for everyone.
There’s also a flash deal taking place on November 25 in which Google Play will let you rent any movie for just a dollar.
If you’d like to see everything in an organized fashion, visit Google Play’s Holiday Hub. It’ll show you every deal the digital store is running between now and the end of the year. The current focus is on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but Google Play should be expected to have additional details spread throughout the next few weeks.
Please remember, though, that these deals are only available in select markets.
