Annoying Pixel 2 buzzing will be fixed in upcoming update

Is your Pixel 2 buzzing during phones calls? Google is aware such an issue exists and plans on releasing a fix.

Like it’s done to address a number of other issues, Google posted a message on its Pixel User Community forum to quell community concern, acknowledging it’s “rolling out a software update in the coming weeks.”

The upcoming software should eliminate a faint buzzing sound experienced by some Pixel 2 handsets when on a phone call. Apparently, users who initially experienced the issue were given replacement units, only to realize the buzzing noise was still there.

Clearly, it’s software-related, which is why Google intends to release a software fix.

Since launching, both the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL have endured their fair share of horrors, from poor display calibration to a bug that affected Google Assistant. It’s been a difficult launch, to say the least.
