Celebrate the spookiness of Halloween with your Google Home

Happy Halloween! Today’s the day when children (and maybe some adults) embark on a journey through spooky neighborhoods to collect candy from every house in sight. Brands have always celebrated holidays like Halloween on Twitter and Facebook, but now they’re taking things to a new level through digital assistants.

Of course there’s a themed response integrated into Google Assistant for Halloween. Whether you have a Google Home or another Google Assistant-powered device, you can say “OK Google, Happy Halloween” to receive one of two replies. Either the digital assistant will tell you about today’s Google Doodle or tease “all sorts of tricks and treats” from a “virtual bag.”
