Tomorrow is a big day for pop culture. Stranger Things 2 hits Netflix, Super Mario Odyssey will be available for the Nintendo Switch, and Assassin’s Creed: Origins will be released by Ubisoft. Oh, and in case you forgot, Apple will put the iPhone X up for preorder.
We’ve already shared out tips for preordering the iPhone X, so it’s now in your hands. The only real hard part will be staying up. Most of the TechnoBuffalo staff is located on the west coast, so it won’t be too difficult. But we don’t envy those on the east coast who have to stay up past 3 a.m.
Apple updated its site on Thursday to get people hyped for the iPhone X, with videos and information that highlight the phone’s best features, from its 5.8-inch edge-to-edge display to its support for wireless charging. Obviously, the device is a big release for the company.
Unfortunately, there have been countless reports over the past few weeks suggesting there will be very limited supply of the iPhone X due to manufacturing hurdles. In fact, a recent report claimed Apple may only ship about 20 million units this holiday season, about half of what it originally expected.
One thing is for sure: Getting an iPhone X preorder will be no easy feat. And if you do decide to wait outside of an Apple store on launch day, Apple says to arrive early.
Preorders for the iPhone X will go live at 12:01 a.m. PST on October 27.
