“Larger screen. Same footprint.” OnePlus could be using that as the slogan for its next phone rumored to launch in the coming weeks. There’s been plenty of confusion regarding the existence of the OnePlus 5T, but lately reports and leaks have to pointed the phone being real and debuting soon.

First we have a leaked image of the OnePlus 5T. A trusted source provided Android Authority with the image above. It shows the OnePlus 5T in a dim setting, and all we can see is part of the display and bottom of the device. As expected, the company’s “Never Settle” phrase is stamped on the wallpaper. There’s not much else to say other than the phone looking as it has in previous leaks.

The second leak of the day comes from a Twitter user who claims to have discovered an unpublished page for the phone on OnePlus’ site. It shows the alleged slogan in addition to the front of the OnePlus 5T.

OnePlus isn’t expected to overhaul the OnePlus 5 in order to create the OnePlus 5T. It’ll use the same specifications but tweak the display.

The OnePlus 5T should have a 6-inch Full HD+ (2160×1080) Optic AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio. OnePlus’ current flagship has a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920×1080) Optic AMOLED display with 16:9 aspect ratio. For the new device, OnePlus can just stretch the display while keeping the exact same body. That would explain the logic behind the leaked slogan.

You can also tell that, by going with an all-screen front, OnePlus will have to move the fingerprint scanner to the back of the phone. Need a better idea of what the OnePlus 5T should look like? Check out Oppo’s F5. Both phones are made by companies belonging to BBK Electronics. So the same design is traded between brands to reduce costs.

Everyone should take this leak with a grain of salt, however. The person leaking the information isn’t a known source. Although things seem legit here, there’s no way to verify whether this actually came from OnePlus or if the person made mockups. Just be patient as, if the OnePlus 5T is real, the phone will be announced by mid-November.
