You can buy the Pixel 2 at Google’s popup stores

The Pixel 2 is a great phone with fantastic software and an out-of-this-world camera. Unfortunately, it is very hard to come by, already being backordered through Google’s online store. Google’s answer to that is random popup stores that will sell the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL as well as the Google Home Mini.

In the past, Google has experimented with popup stores to showcase its products. Although it is not exactly the same experience you’ll get at an Apple Store (or Microsoft Store), it’s a great way to see Google’s devices in-person. The new popup stores don’t guarantee you’ll be able to score the panda Pixel 2 XL, but it increases your odds significantly.

Google is planning on opening these popup stores in Los Angeles and New York beginning Thursday, October 19, the official launch day of the Pixel 2. The stores will be open through December 31, taking advantage of the lucrative holiday shopping season.

The Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL and Google Home Mini will be available for sale at these stores as well as the Google Home and other Google products. Once the Pixel Buds and Google Home Max are released, we imagine some units will also be available at these popup stores.
