Razer is finding an irreverent joy in dangling its upcoming smartphone in front of our faces without actually showing it. In an interview with CNBC last month, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan confirmed the company was working on a smartphone that would be released by the end of the year. That tease wasn’t enough for him, as a new photo has surfaced that shows a phone bulging from the CEO’s pocket with the bright green Razer snake logo peeking out.
It’s quite a ostentatious way of teasing a phone Razer hasn’t released. It takes the reported Tim Cook pocket bulge of the iPhone X to a new level by actually showing off a portion of the phone.

The photo was posted by Razer SVP and GM of Mobile Tom Moss. Coincidentally, Moss was previously part of Nextbit, the smartphone company Razer bought out earlier this year. “Exciting times ahead!” the caption reads.
With Razer being so brazen about telling the world it’s working on a smartphone, it’s only a matter of time before it’s announced.
