Latest Thor: Ragnarok TV spot shows Thor taking his rightful place

“You’re in my seat.”

That’s how the latest Thor: Ragnarok TV trailer starts. And it’s not Thor uttering the phrase at Hela after she snatched Asgard and the throne from Thor; it’s Hela telling Thor off for seating in her throne.

The small snippet of the scene is never before seen footage from the latest Thor movie. The prior trailers and teasers have mostly focused on regurgitating information that is already known so as to avoid spoilers. That’s much appreciated, Marvel.

When the teaser begins, Thor is sitting smugly with his short hairdo on Odin’s throne, going all Lord of the Rings banging a staff on the ground. Panning back out, see a menacing figure approaching him with the familiar ragged crown. It’s Hela, and she’s pretty pissed off.

It is a pretty badass scene that may be our first look at Thor’s return to Asgard after he is banished by Hela earlier in the movie.

We don’t really know much else about the plot of Thor: Ragnarok other than Thor is banished after Mjolnir is destroyed, Hela takes over Asgard and Thor brings together a rag-tag group of Guardians-like space trotters to fight off the Goddess of Death. In the middle of all that, we meet Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster and see Thor and Hulk duke it out Gladiator-style.

This latest teaser is probably that last bit of new information we’ll see until Thor: Ragnarok comes out. Thankfully, we don’t have to wait that much longer with it hitting theaters on November 3.
