Google Pixel 2 XL vs. Galaxy Note 8: Samsung has some major competition

If you’ve been dazzled by Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8, wait until you see what the Pixel 2 XL has to offer. Google’s new device features an elegant design and a camera that will no doubt be among the best out there. The hard part is choosing just one device to buy.

Over the past several months, Android phones have become incredibly advanced. Screens have barely any bezel, designs are wildly elegant, and specs just keep getting better. With the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung created a device that seems almost too good to be true. The Pixel 2 XL matches it every step of the way.

The biggest difference, of course, is the Note 8’s S Pen, which has become a unique differentiator for Samsung’s most product device. Whether that’s something you hold in high regard is up to you. Having a stylus is certainly convenient, but not crucial.

Otherwise, it’ll come down to camera experience, performance, battery life, and other intangibles. We’ve praise Samsung phones this year for offering polished, well-rounded experiences. It looks like the Pixel 2 XL is every bit as good while taking it a step further.

You can see how these two phones compare in the table down below.
