Apple on Tuesday released iOS 11.0.2, an update focused on squashing bugs and enhancing the software. The update comes on the heels of iOS 11.0.1, which was also designed to improve the everyday experience.
Crucially, the new update fixes an issue experienced by some iPhone 8 users who noticed a crackling noise when making phone calls. Additionally, the release notes say iOS 11.0.2 fixes a bug that caused some photos not to show up.
Since releasing iOS 11 on September 19, Apple has been hard at work issuing updates to improve the software. In addition to today’s update, Apple recently released a beta for iOS 11.1, which will likely be available to consumers once the iPhone X becomes available at the beginning of November.
If we find any other big changes in iOS 11.0.2, we’ll be sure to let you know.
