Stranger Things 2: Check out seven brand new behind the scenes images

When things ended in season one of Stranger Things, our favorite foursome had successfully rescued Will from the Upside Down but lost Eleven in the process. In the first trailer of season two, dark times were alluded to, including a gigantic squid-like figure and the return of Eleven through a creepy portal. But aside from that, not much is known of the season two premise.

Entertainment Weekly published seven new behind the scenes images (along with three different Stranger Things covers) to provide some context into the kinds of problems the characters will run into. Each image hones in a specific character like the threesome of Mike, Dustin and Lucas and officer Jim Hopper.

From what we can surmise from the trailer, Will will be in more trouble and it’s verified in the image of him in a hospital bed. That doesn’t bode well for his character.

We also get a close up look at two new characters: Bob Newby (Sean Austin) and Billy (Dacre Montgomery). The image of Billy doesn’t reveal too much, other than he really has an 80’s look going. Bob, on the other hand, may end up as some sort of love interest for Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder). In the image, the two characters appear to be eating lunch together on a bench while having a friendly conversation. We caught a brief glimpse of Bob running through a dark hall in hospital scrubs in the trailer.

Joyce can also be seeing very upset in an image while being held by Bob.

Lastly, we see Eleven walking around with a full head of hair in a seedy hallway. As for why she’s there alone, we have no idea.

We don’t have to wait too long confirm our questions. Season two of Stranger Things premieres October 27 on Netflix. Get ready to binge.
