Nintendo on Friday made the Super Mario Odyssey Edition of its Switch console available to preorder, with shipments expected to go out on October 27.
We’ve seen a few different Switch releases themed after a specific game—there was one for Splatoon 2—but this latest bundle is the best yet. It features Mario-themed Joy-Con and a carrying case with an emblem of Mario’s weird hat, named Cappy, which is capable of attacking enemies and possessing enemies.
Otherwise, the Switch is mostly the same, featuring the same matte black finish and dock. You also get a snazzy box featuring artwork for Super Mario Odyssey and a full game download.
If you don’t currently own a Switch and planned on picking one up for the release of Super Mario Odyssey, Nintendo’s latest bundle will let you kill two birds with one stone. And it’s a pretty good deal at $379, too, considering you get the console, game, and carrying case.
Typically, the Switch retails for $299, while AAA titles are priced at $59; a good carrying case for the console is typically around $20.
The Super Mario Odyssey Edition of the Nintendo Switch will be released on October 27, which is also the same day the highly anticipated game hits stores.
