Well, all good things must come to an end, and this includes Shovel Knight. The indie platformer is easily one of the best gaming experiences of the last decade, and its expansions have rewritten the way we look at indie DLC. With two successful adventures already tacked onto the main quest, the next one will close out the series with the most gilded of The Order of No Quarter, King Knight.

Well, at least it will close out Yacht Club Games’ Kickstarter obligations. Maybe… maybe they’ll get around to Polar Knight some day.

Shovel Knight: King of Cards will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, 3DS, and PC in 2018.

Shovel Knight: King of Cards is the final campaign in the Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove saga, and it’s bigger and grander than ever! Play as King Knight, the gilded goon himself, as he travels through 4 new worlds and more than 30 all new courses, on a journey to best the Three Kings who rule over the land. With a high flying spin and a boisterous bash, he can crash through all who would dare stand in his way!

Does King Knight have what it takes to become a ruler? Maybe he can pick it up along the way on this quirky quest! Experience refined platforming, exquisite visuals, new action-packed courses, brand new bosses, and amass a devoted following in Shovel Knight: King of Cards!

Key Features

  • Tackle enemies and obstacles head on with your signature bash attack and finish them off with a dazzling spinning strike! King Knight’s playstyle is all about bashing, bouncing, and bounding!
  • Collect tons of new weapons, armors, abilities, and followers to look your dandiest as you pummel foes with radiant skill.
  • Had your fill of glamorous adventure? Unwind and sharpen your strategic mind by competing in card battles with future subjects from across the land.

Shovel Knight: King of Cards launches on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, 3DS, and PC in 2018.
