Sony has a solid line-up of games for the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection in September.
A quick look at the trailer should leave no questions as to what the premier game of the line-up is. That’s inFamous: Second Son, a game that helped launch the PlayStation 4. The inFamous series hasn’t been seen since, meaning that Sony probably wasn’t pleased with the financial results, but many fans of the first two PlayStation 3 games enjoyed it well enough. I never got around to it, so this is a solid opportunity.
The other PlayStation 4 game is an aerial combat title called Strike Vector Ex. I’ve never heard of it, but it might be a good opportunity to help get my wings back. I’ve been grounded lately, and I need some flying practice for Ace Combat 7 next year.
As for the PlayStation 3 games, take ’em or leave ’em. Truck Racer and Handball 2016. Whatever, I wanna talk about the Vita games!
Hatoful Boyfriend is the prime Vita selection for this month. The infamous indie dating simulator is six years old now, but it still captures the confusion of those who stumble upon it. Yes, because it is a game about dating pigeons. No getting around that.
The other game, We Are Doomed, looks like a solid little twin-stick shooter. No harm in giving it a shot.
