Wednesday has turned into a huge day for virtual assistants. Alexa and Cortana have teamed up, and now Google Assistant is invading every item in our homes.

Google announced on Wednesday that Google Assistant is going to spread the virtual love and be built into additional products before the end of the year. In the not too distant future, you may find Assistant in your new LG washer and be able to say, “Ok Google, wash my clothes.” You will then be able to ask Assistant on your phone, “Ok Google, are my clothes clean?” before you trudge to the laundry room just to discover the cycle isn’t completed.

Other products Google is targeting for Assitant embedding are dryers and vacuums.

Welcome the new speakers

Google has also announced that it will be coming to new speakers this year. Keep your eyes out four for the Zolo Mojo by Anker, TicHome Mini by Mobvoi and GA10 by Panasonic.

The speakers are scheduled to hit the market later this year and most will be available in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, Germany and France.

Google said it would have more details through out the week so stay tuned.
