As soon as I started playing Stardew Valley back when it released, I wanted to play it portably. Once I got the Nintendo Switch in my hands, I knew that was the console that would be the perfect home for the Harvest Moon-inspired title.
I’ve been awaiting its release on the Nintendo Switch eagerly, and I know that I’ll make proper use of its eventual multiplayer patch down the line, too.
The good news? We’re getting so close to the launch of this game on Nintendo’s latest platform. Chucklefish CEO and Designer Finn “Tiyuri” Brice announced that the game is just about to enter testing with Nintendo.
Stardew Valley Switch is coming along very well. The last known bugs have been fixed and we're submitting for testing this week 🙂

This is, essentially, one of the last steps before the title can be released on the platform. If it passes the testing phase or has bugs that can be fixed with relative ease, we could be playing Stardew Valley on our Nintendo Switches very, very soon.
I’m super excited. Mark this as a day-one purchase for me.
