Galaxy Note 8 looks stunning in new Star Pink hue

Samsung has launched a stunning Star Pink color variant of the Galaxy Note 8, but there’s a caveat: it’s only available in Taiwan—and it isn’t showing signs of hitting the shelves in additional regions anytime soon.

The only thing that’s different between this particular model and, say, the Deep Sea Blue variant is the hue; it sports the exact same internals, including a 6.3-inch Infinity Display and an Exynos 8895 processor.

Why Taiwan?

According to a recent report, more than 30 percent of all smartphones sold in Taiwan are anodized in some shade of pink, so it’s easy to see why Samsung has decided to offer the Star Pink option in the country.

That doesn’t mean it won’t launch in the United States at some point, though. The firm typically waits for sales to stagnate before introducing additional color variants, and it’s possible that could happen with the Galaxy Note 8.
