PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds sudden burst into the gaming world just hit a brand new high as one of the few games that has ever topped DOTA 2 on Steam’s concurrent users list. According to Steam Spy, PUBG’s victory came early in the morning on Aug. 25

However, the victory was short lived. Not long after PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds broke the record, its servers crashed and lost all of those users.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is still on Steam Early Access, and it can be picked up for $29.99. The final version does not have a final release date, but it will be released for the Xbox One when it finally does finish up.
