Time seem to stand still as day turned to night during the afternoon hours on Monday, August 21, with millions of people across the U.S. peering up at the total solar eclipse. It was an event for ages, and one that produced some truly spectacular pictures and reactions.

While your respective social media feeds were likely filled with amazing pictures from the event, none were as good or awe-inspiring as this video from NASA, which shows the International Space Station transiting the sun while the eclipse was happening. It is truly a one in a million moment.

If you weren’t able to view the eclipse in person, NASA has provided a wealth of priceless media from the event as it happened. The good news is you can stare at these images (and video) all you want!
