Samsung has shaved ₹9,000 ($140) off the price of the Galaxy S8 Plus with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage in India. The handset can now be picked up for ₹65,900 ($1,030), ₹1,000 ($15) more expensive than the standard Galaxy S8 Plus (4GB/64GB)
Don’t be fooled into thinking that the Galaxy S8 Plus is old hat now that the Galaxy Note 8 has been announced; the two units actually sport near-identical internals, though the latter comes with a larger 6.3-inch Infinity Display, a dual-camera setup and an S Pen.
Samsung’s throwing in a free Convertible Wireless Charger
To sweeten the deal, Samsung is awarding all customers a free Convertible Wireless Charger. HDFC customers are also eligible for ₹3,000 ($45) cashback. If that’s not an incentive to pick up a new smartphone, I don’t know what is.
