Pixel 2 launch date leaks and it’s right around the corner

Google will launch the Snapdragon 836-powered Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL on October 5, according to reliable tipster Evan Blass.

There’s some bad news, though: neither handset is expected to sport a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Recent reports claim that the Pixel 2 will feature a 5-inch Full HD display, 4GB of RAM and a squeezable frame à la HTC U11. The Pixel XL 2 should pack identical internals, though it’s tipped to have a larger 6-inch panel.
