It’s all come down to this. The biggest episode in Game of Thrones history is set to air in just a few days, and HBO has released a handful of pictures teasing the big showdown.
The pictures aren’t all that revealing in terms of detail. If you saw the preview for the season seven finale, you already know what’s about to go down.
HBO already confirmed Sunday’s Game of Thrones episode will clock in at 79 minutes, making it one of the longest in the show’s history. That’s good news, because plenty of storylines are still dangling.
Now that Jon has proof of the threat beyond the wall, how will Cersei react? Will she put aside her thirst for power and help defeat the Night King? One way we know the episode will be good is that Bran Stark, as comatose as ever, is now sitting by a fire! Wow!
This season flew by thanks to a shorter than normal season. Whereas previous seasons were typically around ten episodes, this season is only seven. Meanwhile, the final season is going to be even shorter at just six episodes, HBO has confirmed.
