Samsung will take the stage next week for its latest Unpacked event where it will announce the Note 8. Anticipation is building up, but new photos of a Note 8 dummy may one-up the event by showing off all the features that are expected with the phone including the dual camera and 6.3-inch display.
The photos, which made their first appearance on the Chinese site Weibo, are of a non-functioning dummy from China. If we didn’t know this was a dummy, it would be quite easy to mistake it for the real thing.
It sports the rumored dual camera with similar design to the S8. The fingerprint scanner will still live in the awkward position right next to the camera. One of the images shows off the display turned on, but BGR is reporting it may have just have been an image super imposed as there is no evidence this is a working dummy.
We don’t get a look at the S-pen that’s a staple of the Note line, but early reports say it will be present with a few new upgrades.
Samsung’s Unpacked event is happening August 23. We can confirm for ourselves if these images are legit in less than a week.
