The worst kept secret in Hollywood is Superman’s role in Justice League. His involvement with the movie has been hinted at endlessly but Warner Bros. is still refusing to include him in any promotional material for reasons unknown. That was until the latest Justice League poster was spotted with our favorite Kryptonian flying heroically over his other DC compatriots.

Film Cells was the first to spot the poster. Present are Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash whom we’ve grown very familiar with throughout past DC movies and the Justice League trailers. Superman, on the other hand, we haven’t heard a peep of him since his tragic death in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The poster is our first true sighting of him with the rest of the Justice League crew.

The last scene in Batman v. Superman hinted as his resurrection and the last scene of the Justice League trailer hinted at his return, but the poster officially confirms his role in the movie. If you like the poster, you can actually buy it for $19.99.

Here’s what we do know about Justice League. With the world grieving from Superman’s death, Batman is rethinking his approach as a vigilante and goes looking for more metahumans to band in an alliance. He brings Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash into the fold. Superman will resurrect through some form and together they will take on Steppenwolf. There’s more to the story, but that’s a quick recap.

The movie is currently going through massive reshoots even though its release date is only three months away. Director Zack Snyder had to step away due to family tragedy and Joss Whedon has been leading the reshoots in his place.

We hope the movie turns out to be good, but our expectations are being scaled back after what we saw from Batman v. Superman. But at least Superman will be in it.
