LG hasn’t been shy about stating the V30 is coming, posting information about the phone’s software and camera capabilities, but stopped short of showing off the phone in its full glory. Evan Blass just did it for them.
Notable leaker Evan Blass published what appears to be the first official image of the V30 on Twitteron Wednesday evening and it looks absolutely gorgeous.
It seems LG has borrowed the best aspects of the G6 and refined it completely to perfection. It still has the glass front and back panels with the nearly bezel-less display, dual camera system and the fingerprint scanner at the center of the back. But from the side views, it looks like it has a fit and finish that was sorely missing from the G6.

Gone are the flat sides and taking their places are rounded edges that seamlessly morph into the glass panels on both sides. The image Blass posted is of a silver model with a polished metal frame but the front is kept black to make the bezel-less display look even better.
The V30 will come with a 6-inch FullVision OLED display, which you can see in all of its glory in the image. It will also come with a new Crystal Clear Lens camera that LG is promising takes the clearest images and an updated UX 6.0+ that repurposes the now defunct extra display found that was a staple of the V series into a Floating Bar within the main display.
Other features the V30 will include are better control over the camera’s manual mode, two new forms of unlocking (facial and voice) and an updated always-on display with more information.
We have to hand it to LG, they truly made a gorgeous phone after the G6 failed to really stand toe to toe with the S8. The V30 certainly does.
