Pave paradise, give Ni No Kuni 2 a season pass…

Nothing is sacred anymore. The joys of No Ni Kuni’s free post-game content are going to be locked behind a paywall in its upcoming sequel. Bandai Namco has confirmed that Ni No Kuni 2 will have a season pass, and that multiple editions will be released for those looking to spend an extra bit of dough.

The Prince’s Edition will include a Making of… Blu-ray disc, chronicling the long development process of this game, and the King’s Edition has a 148-page artbook, vinyl soundtrack, a rotating diorama, and a plush of Lofty. Both editions will also offer the season pass and further DLC specialties.

No price point has been set for the season pass or any of the special editions just yet. Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom will be released on Jan. 19 for the PlayStation 4 and PC.
