Google Home coming to yet more users

by Josh Levenson | August 9, 2017

At long last, Google has released its Home voice-activated smart speaker in Germany. The unit is available to purchase through the firm’s online store for €149 ($176).

Designed to compete with the Amazon Echo, Home ships with a slew of nifty features, like support for multiple users and step-by-step recipe instructions.

The pièce de résistance, however, is Google’s update policy; Home is updated at least once a month with various new tools for customers to play around with.

Google Home recently launched in Canada

This news comes shortly after Home touched down in Canada and more recently France, where it comes pre-loaded with a French preset.

It’s currently unclear whether Google has managed to perfect German in time for the unit’s release in the region, but all will be revealed in the near future.
