Here’s everything that’s coming to Amazon Prime Video in August

by Danny Zepeda | August 1, 2017August 1, 2017 7:00 pm PDT

Amazon announced the list of new titles arriving to its streaming service for the month of August and it is chalk full of great titles.

Leading off the pack is the arrival of the Amazon original series The Tick. Based on the animated series, it was part of Amazon’s “vote for pilot” where it makes and releases a single episode before committing to a full season. The first episode for The Tick was released last year leading a lot of buzz, greenlighting a full season of the series that will officially debut on August 25.

Amazon is also debuting two additional original series in the month—Lost in Oz and Comrade Detective.

For movies, Amazon isn’t disappointing. Saw (I-V), Valkyrie, Florence Foster Jenkins and Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure are all debuting throughout the month. But the title that looks like will be the best is the unrated version of Superbad that will be available starting August 4.

You can check out all the complete list of additions arriving on Amazon Prime Video in August down below.
