Matt Groening, the mind behind The Simpsons and Futurama, is coming to Netflix for an animated fantasy series called Disenchantment.

The new series will feature Groening’s patented blend of satire and humor, exploring “life and death, love and sex,” according to the famed animator.

Disenchantment will be about life and death, love and sex, and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots, despite what the elders and wizards and other jerks tell you,” Groening explained.

Along with Groening, Netflix said the show will feature a who’s who of voice talent, including Abbi Jacobson, Nat Faxon, Eric Andre, John DiMaggio, and others.

According to Netflix, the show will make its debut in 2018, with the possibility of future seasons beyond its premiere date.

“The series will bear [Groening’s] trademark animation style and biting wit, and we think it’s a perfect fit for our many Netflix animation fans,” said Cindy Holland, Vice President, Original Content for Netflix.
