Apple rolls out new iOS 11 public beta—Anyone can try it!

Apple on Tuesday rolled out the third public beta of iOS 11, bringing the release one step closer to being finished. Anyone signed up for Apple’s beta program can download the software right now.

The release of iOS 11 beta 4on Monday to developers included a surprising amount of features and changes, so it’s safe to assume today’s public beta will include the same new features. 9to5Mac has a nice overview video of everything that’s new in yesterday’s iOS 11 beta 4 release.

As always, using beta software doesn’t come without risks. We’ve been running the iOS 11 public beta on a few devices here in the office to varying degrees of stability. Your experience will vary.

Apple is expected to release the final version of iOS 11 this fall, along with its tenth anniversary iPhone 8.
