The Sapphire Blue variant of the HTC U11 is now available to pre-order in India from the firm’s website for INR 51,900 ($805), with shipments scheduled to start leaving its warehouse towards the beginning of next month.
Dubbed “the world’s first squeezable smartphone,” the U11 features a pressure-sensitive frame, which allows users to trigger different actions — placing a call, for example — by squeezing the device for a predetermined length of time.
Other than the new hue, the Sapphire Blue model is identical to the Amazing Silver and Brilliant Black variants. It sports the same 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 12MP UltraPixel camera and 3,000mAh battery.
HTC has some big features in the pipeline
If that’s not enough to win you over, the U11 is scheduled to receive an update in the region that’ll bundle compatibility for Amazon’s digital assistant, Alexa — but the firm did not specify a timeframe for the rollout.
