Destiny 2 beta is now open to all, regardless of pre-order

As of today, any Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners with a premium subscription to their platform’s online service can download and play the beta for Destiny 2.

The beta officially opened up to anyone without a pre-order today at 10:00 a.m. PT.

The beta features a bit of the campaign, multiplayer and some cinematics. There’s even a Strike included in the mix complete with matchmaking if you don’t have any friends playing the beta.

On July 23 at 10:00 a.m., players will have access to The Farm. This is Destiny 2’s social space, much like the Tower. You’ll be spending a lot of time there once the official game drops in September.

Is this how you intend to spend your weekend? Rocking and rolling through the beta sounds good to me for a few days between work.

Destiny 2 hits the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017. It hits the PC platform on October 24, 2017. The PC version will have a beta next month.
