A fan has made Super Mario 64 Maker, a level creator based on Super Mario Maker that’s been designed for the classic Mario 64 ROM. Nintendo will make modder Kaze Emanuar take this down. If that haven’t by the time you’re reading this, they likely will soon. It’s only a matter of time.
For now, at the time of writing this post, all the videos, links and instructions are still live. You can find everything you need in the description of the video below.
Of course, you can always get your hands on Super Mario Maker, the official version. The game was released for the Wii U, and then a slightly lesser version hit the Nintendo 3DS. Near the time of its launch, Super Mario Maker dominated the gaming conversation in a way that no other Wii U game really had before.
With that in mind, Nintendo is almost definitely cooking something up for the Nintendo Switch. Whether or not it’s a port, sequel or spin-off remains to be seen. We all want that The Legend of Zelda: Dungeon Maker game, don’t we?
