Snapchat Spectacles are now easier to find than ever

When the Snapchat Spectacles launched, consumers could only find them at impromptu vending machines around the U.S., and then later through Snap’s website. Now, however, finding them just became a lot easier.

Snap on Tuesday began selling the wearables through Amazon’s massive online emporium, offering them for the same retail price of $129—and in black, coral, and teal. If you’re so inclined, you can even choose next-day delivery.

The Snapchat Spectacles are designed to make posting to Snapchat easier than ever, giving users a hands-free way to record video and snap photos. Although their design and bright colors suggest the Spectacles are a children’s toy, the gadget is surprisingly fun to use and adds an entirely new element to the Snapchat experience.

Even better, when video is recorded using the Spectacles, smartphone owners can view the results in either portrait or landscape.

Of course, like any wearable, battery life and functionality issues brought the experience down. That’s the least of Snap’s worries, however, as Instagram’s new Stories feature, which apes the purpose of Snapchat, has surpassed the platform with more daily active users.

Offering the Spectacles through Amazon will certainly make them more accessible to the platform’s fervent fanbase. You can get your pair for $129.
