It doesn’t have the flash of the Galaxy S8 or the prestige of the LG G6, but the Nokia 8 still sounds like a solid entry in the premium smartphone market.
After the device broke cover in a since-deleted video, an image of the handset has appeared via Venture Beat. Its design isn’t anything to write home about, though the dual-camera setup is notable. Nokia devices have long been lauded for their excellent camera quality, and we expect the same from the Nokia 8.
Other possible specs may include a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 5.7-inch Quahd HD display. Specs such as battery, storage, and other intangibles (wireless charging, IP rating, more) are unknown at this time. We also don’t know how much the device will cost when it’s released.
The handset is expected to make its official debut on July 31, which is just a few weeks away. If it’s priced right, the Nokia 8 could make a good first impression. However, a listing on a European website had the device retailing for €600, which isn’t cheap.
